Nakara Primary integrates the use of the library’s resources into all curriculum areas.

In addition to lessons detailing how to find information on both computers and in books, students are encouraged to apply these skills in their daily classroom tasks and activities.

Nakara has high-speed (FTTP) internet access administered by the Education Department. The school is required to ensure appropriate use is made of online facilities, and Acceptable Use Policies are signed by students/parents on enrolment.

Students can access the library during lunchtime and after school to have a cool, quiet space to escape the heat of the playground, use computers, play board games, and to return and borrow books.
