Whole school assembly is held every second Friday at 8:30 am.

The Student Representative Council conduct the assembly with members taking turns to host.

Assembly at Nakara is always great fun. All classes from years 1 to 6 are rostered to create and perform a special piece for the school. As a result, Nakara students gain confidence in public speaking and performing in front of crowds.

After performances, merit awards are handed out for each class. There’s much anticipation of who will receive a merit award, and which sporting house is topping the points tally.

Other assembly items may include performances by music groups and news of sports and academic achievements. Families are warmly invited to attend (Covid directives permitting).
